Corporatization of health care could have downside

The trigger for this column was an article in the New York Times about the corporatization of health care. Psychiatrists have said that the changing delivery of health care has led to a “moral injury” among physicians.
This moral injury was first discussed in connection with wartime service. It refers to a soldier witnessing or participating in acts that violate his or her core values.
