House panel passes medical malpractice bill - without protections for corporate hospitals

This article in the Santa Fe New Mexican gives a deep dive into what happened during the House Health & Human Services Committee hearing on House Bill 99 Friday, January 29th. While we feel that this bill is flawed, we do appreciate the work that went into the additional amendment that was added which will protect individual doctors while holding large corporate hospitals accountable.
